Jack was crowned the 2022 Quattro Group British GP2 Champion with RS racing Kalex and has now made his debut in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship last week at Silverstone racing with Rapid CDH Racing Kawasaki.
Being a local lad, we got in conversation with Jack about supporting him for his new journey into the world of superbike racing. After dominating the GP2 class last year with a total of 14 wins and a podium finish, we were excited to get involved with the rookie at an early stage in his career as the kid clearly has a lot of potential.
“I have raced in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship support classes for the last six years now with 117 races and 71 podiums under my belt, so I feel the next step is due,” Scott said. “2022 was a fantastic year for me on the RS Racing Kalex in the GP2 class and competing with the Supersport riders.
“Winning the race overall at Thruxton against the likes of Jack Kennedy, Brad Perie, Luke Stapleford and Harry Truelove was amazing, but winning the GP2 Championship title was unbelievable. Now having the opportunity to step up to the Superbike class is a dream come true.
“I would like to say a big thank you to Dean at CDH Racing for offering me the ride and I am mega excited to finally be racing a Superbike. Testing can’t come soon enough now so roll on 2023.”
